As part of our continuous commitment to quality, productivity and technological innovation, we have commissioned a new ABB robotic welding cell equipped with advanced Fronius welding technology.
The system is built around a 6-axis ABB industrial robot, providing exceptional flexibility and accuracy in welding operations. Its wide range of motion enables the efficient welding of both complex components and repetitive production runs while maintaining consistent weld quality.
The cell features two independent worktables, measuring 3,150 mm and 2,000 mm respectively. This dual-station configuration allows loading and unloading operations to be carried out on one table while welding is performed on the other, significantly reducing downtime and maximizing productivity.
The welding process is powered by a Fronius TPS/i 400 welding source, known for its arc stability, process control capabilities and high-quality weld performance. The system is further enhanced with Seam Tracking technology, which continuously monitors the weld joint and automatically compensates for positional deviations during the welding process. This ensures optimal weld accuracy and consistency, even when dealing with manufacturing tolerances or variations in part positioning.
